We Are

EEI (ELE Energy Investment Co.) an investment company with a focus on electricity generation in the developing world, including Energy from Waste (EfW) projects from municipal solid waste.

Some members involved with Iraq since 1982.

Previously, Eastern Lights Energy Ltd. #1 bidder for Al Qudus 500 MW power plant Mega Deal EPC contract tenders in 2011.

EEI is now structured as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) company, with the sole aim of delivering a Waste to Energy plant in Baghdad, Iraq.

Offered the first ever Energy from Waste project investment to Iraq in 2015.

Only company that participated in EfW Workshop held in Baghdad in 2016
• That was coordinated by Prime Minister’s Office
• Wide participation; Ministries, Mayoralty of Baghdad, others
• Engaged with and constantly provided data to Working Committee set up on the subject following the Workshop
